    Pete's Place is a family-run local restaurant; for locals. The polar opposite of touristy.

    The vibe reminds me of, and the operation is very much in the spirit of, the (Southeastern US) Waffle House chain:

    * spartan, no frills
    * cooks (and grill) visible from within the seating area
    * precise (limited menu with no substitutions)
    * polite, but curt, staff

    This is a no nonsense environment. Come here to eat and that's about it. Good news is the food is inexpensive and tasty. I'm happy.

    Me and my girlfriend were staying at the Caesars casino hotel. We found this place on Yelp and decided to try it out because it had the $3.95 breakfast deal.

    $3.95 gets you two eggs cooked to order, two pieces of toast, hash browns and either bacon, sausage or ham.

    I had my eggs scrambled, got the bacon and the white toast. The lady got the same but had sausage instead. Eggs were perfectly cooked ,bacon was nice and crispy and the hash browns were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

    Pete ran the place all by himself and it felt like I was treated to a real home cooked meal. Highly recommended for anyone who wants great food for a good price.

    I am not sure if they are just having a bad day but We have been waiting 45 minutes and there is no sign of our food. They are also out of half of the items on their menu. Do not waste your time.

    Good food at a fair price. These other breakfast places are charging a fortune anymore for breakfast.The only restaurant I'll go to anymore for a quality breakfast that doesn't cost 15 bucks for eggs.keep up the good work.

    The guy turned us away because we had coffees in our hands. Obviously doesn't know how to run a business. What if we came in and only ordered food and waters? The net effect is he lost multiple sales, yelp credibility, and a good tip (if he would have been nice). Learn to business.
